In our winter module course, you will learn about and discuss German Politics within a framework of contemporary history, institutional and comparative perspectives, decision making processes, and Germany’s perspectives on Europe and the world.

Würzburg, one of Germany's most beautiful cities, has a history that dates back more than 1,300 years. The city offers a lot of famous sights, above all the UNESCO World Heritage Site Würzburg Residence. Founded in 1402, the University of Würzburg is among the oldest universities in Europe. More than 30,000 students make for a vivid city with a rich and exciting cultural, pub and club scene.

Class of 2021

Our first-ever virtual Summer Module Course took place from 19th to 23rd July 2021. 35 students from five continents joined us online for an in-depth look at German Politics.

Class of 2019

Students from all over the world took part in the Summer School German Politics 2019 at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology in Würzburg. Between 25th July and 2nd August 2019 a total of 21 students from 15 different countries took part in various seminars and enjoyed the social program in good summer weather.
