By the end of the course, all successful participants will be issued a detailed Certificate of Attendance equivalent to a regular module worth 5 ECTS.

The City of Würzburg

Würzburg, one of Germany's most beautiful cities, has a history that dates back more than 1,300 years. The city offers a lot of famous sights, above all the UNESCO World Heritage Site Würzburg Residence. Founded in 1402, the University of Würzburg is among the oldest universities in Europe. More than 30,000 students make for a vivid city with a rich and exciting cultural, pub and club scene.

Class of 2019

In February 2019, the Institute of Political Science and Sociology organized a sociological Winter Module Course on Big Data. Students from all over the world were guests in Würzburg. Bachelor, Master and PhD students from 8 different countries participated in various discussions, workshops and seminars.
