Admissions

This page provides detailed information regarding application and admission.

Eligibility

You are eligible if you:

  • currently are a higher education student (graduate or undergraduate) enrolled at a University outside of Germany regardless of nationality (Non-German and German)

  • haven’t previously been enrolled at a German University

  • have English language skills sufficient to attend and contribute to English spoken lectures and discussions

  • have the technical equipment and requirements in order to participate in video conferences via Zoom (stable internet connection, webcam, microphone, speakers)

The number of participants is limited. The selection criteria will be based on eligibility and academic performance.

Tuition and Financial Aid

  • 142,70 € Tuition (Scholarships available for the 20 first applicants)
    • Tuition fees will be due upon enrollment. All applicants granted a scholarship will be informed via e-mail in advance.
  • Due to the pandemic situation all non-EU applicants and non-GB applicants are required to sign a »Declaration of Health Insurance Obligation«. You thereby confirm that you will not be visiting/residing in Germany at any time between October 2021 and March 2022.

  • Nonetheless, if you are planning on visiting/residing in Germany at any time between October 2021 and March 2022, health insurance valid in Germany is required for the duration of the winter semester of 2021/22 (approx. 600€).

  • Note regarding all non-EU and non-GB applicants: At this time we cannot guarantee that the current state of exception declared by state and federal law due to the covid pandemic will remain in force until the end of the winter semester. Since a repeal of the current status quo is possible, health insurance in Germany will be required despite having signed the »Declaration of Health Insurance Obligation«.  In that event you will either be required to enroll in health insurance in Germany for the Duration of the winter semester (approx. 600€) or you will have to exmatriculate from the University of Würzburg and therefore no longer be able to participate in the Module Course.
