Events
The Forum Nachhaltigkeit organises lectures, colloquia and conferences, which deal in particular with questions of social science sustainability research. The events are sponsored by the Human Dynamics Centre of JMU.
Winter Semester 2023/24
In the winter semester 2023/24, the events of the Sustainability Forum were dedicated to "Sustainability as a Challenge for Deliberative Democracy".
Summer Semester 2023
In the summer semester 2023, the events of the Sustainability Forum were dedicated to "Transformative sustainability knowledge in the field of tension between normativity and normality".
Winter Semester 2022/23
The international kick-off workshop of the "Forum Nachhaltigkeit" at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology Würzburg brought together researchers from Germany and France to discuss challenges, forward-looking research questions and practical implications of inter- and transdisciplinary sustainability research. The event was organized in cooperation with the "Pôle 5: Environment, Climate, Energy: Societies and their Ecological Challenges" of the Centre Marc Bloch Berlin.
