Call for Papers on "Contested Knowledge and the Potentially Changing Role of Experts in Sustainability Politics": Submissions are open until 31 January 2023!
01/15/2023We would like to draw your attention to the Call for Papers for the panel "Contested Knowledge and the Potentially Changing Role of Experts in Sustainability Politics" at the IPPA General Conference in Toronto from 27 - 29 June 2023.
The aim of the panel is to deepen our understanding of the impact of new forms of knowledge production and circulation on sustainability politics against the background of widespread scepticism towards (scientific) expertise and increasing discussions about the role of scientists in society.
The panel is organized by Ulrike Zeigermann and Michael Böcher. It is currently scheduled to take place in person, but online participation in the conference is also possible. The deadline for abstract submissions is 31 January 2023.
