On September 19th, 2026, Dr. Christoph Mohamad-Klotzbach gave an online lecture on “Public Policy and the Far Right” as part of the Graduate course on “The Far Right in the 21st Century: Electoral and Party Impacts and Political Agendas” at the Brazilian universities UFRGS (Rio de Janeiro) and IESP-UERJ (Porto Alegre).

The IPS team and its partners have published four calls for papers for proposed panels at the 30th Congress of the German Political Science Association (DVPW), which will take place at Leipzig University from 7–10 September 2027.

Dr. Philipp Gieg and Jun.-Prof. Ulrike Zeigermann from IPS have published a call for papers for a proposed panel on "The Politics of Ecocide: Multi-Level Perspectives on Criminalizing Environmental Harm" at the 29th IPSA World Congress of Political Science, which will take place at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali in Rome from 24–28 July 2027.
