The event will be held in German. Do you want to exchange ideas with experts from sustainability research, such as Prof. Dr. Michael Böcher, and activists on the topic ‘Climate awareness: Is sustainability research part of the protest’? Join us at the Kellerperle on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6 to 8:30 pm and be part of the discussion in a relaxed atmosphere!
After a short exchange between theory and practice, there will be a World Café with different tables on different topics, including sustainability research and protest, value neutrality of science or scientific policy advice. The event will be accompanied by music from Anne Lendle alias aennies.
The event is part of the Forum Nachhaltigkeit' lecture series ‘Transformative sustainability knowledge in the area of tension between normativity and normality’ and is sponsored by the Human Dynamics Centre at JMU. Credits can be earned through JMU's GSiK program.
