Events
The Chair of International Relations and European Studies regularly organizes conferences, workshops, and panels. We also host lectures and panel discussions on international relations and European studies, including the Security Policy Forum at Wittelsbacherplatz, which we have been organizing together with the German Atlantic Society for several years.
DVPW IR Section Open Conference 2026
From 21 to 23 September 2026, the Open Conference of the ‘International Relations’ Section of the German Political Science Association (DVPW) will take place at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, Germany.
WüMUN 2026 · Würzburg Model United Nations
On May 8 and 9, 2026, university and high school students simulated negotiations within the United Nations bodies. WüMUN 2026 offered participants practical insights into the work of the United Nations.
