As part of the Forum Nachhaltigkeit lecture series, we warmly invite you to a German-language discussion of Prof. Isabel Feichtner’s new book "Bodenschätze: Über Verwertung und Vergesellschaftung" ("Natural resources: On exploitation and socialization").
In her book, Isabel Feichtner analyses how land – from urban property to the seabed – is increasingly transformed into an investment asset, and the social, political, and legal conflicts that accompany this process. She demonstrates how law not only enables exploitation, but can also serve as a tool for reclaiming commons and collective goods.
